The national Informatics Society (Gesellschaft für Informatik - GI) honored Susanne Biundo-Stephan as one of the ten formative researchers of the German AI history.

Extract from the : "Susanne Biundo-Stephan is a key figure of German research in AI in the area of automated planning, in particular in hierarchical planning and cognitive technical systems. She initiated and coordinated the â€žEuropean Network of Excellence in AI Planning“ (PLANET), headed the Collaborative Research Centre on Companion-Technology, and is a Fellow of the European Association for Artificial Intelligence (EurAI).“

The awards ceremony was held on February 11th, 2020, at the New Year reception of the national Informatics Society in Berlin.
