Bela Schubert

Bela Schubert began her studies in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Bielefeld University in 2022. In her first semester, she joined the YOURTREAT project as a student research assistant at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, under the supervision of Frank Neuner, where she worked until 2025.

Driven by her interest in equity in healthcare access and the delivery of care for marginalized groups, she joined the DFG-funded TRAUMA-FIT project in 2025 as a scientific assistant at Bielefeld University, under the supervision of Sarah Wilker. Since May 2026, she additionally supports the Department of Global Mental Health at Ulm University.

Beyond her research activities, she is responsible for the Working Group on Doctoral Training & Continuing Education (“AK Promotion & Weiterbildung”) within the students working group of the German Psychological Society (DGPs). Her work focuses on transparency, fair access, and equal opportunities in academic and professional career pathways.
